Ignoring the fact that the chorus for Lewis Capaldi’s new track “Someone You Loved” sounds awfully familiar to “ma-ya-hi”
The music video for it is really quite sweet <3

Great service from McConechys Elgin this morning. Couple new tyres fitted on the XV with additional tyre swap in order to keep new tyres on the front rather than just one side of the car (y)
Good friendly service!. And authorised fitter for BlackCircles.com
Cooper Park in Elgin looking a bit cold this afternoon
Google maps is learning again. A wee addition where the new roundabout at East side of Elgin is going.
Its mapped the current Path of traffic round one side of it.
Impressed or freaked out?
I’ve always been one for a challenge. Been waiting a while for snot in order to test the capabilities on the Subaru XV / Crosstrek on a challenging situation.
Take one private estate in the North of Scotland. A UK Spec Subaru XV Diesel. A set of Michelin Cross Climate Tyres, part worn, less than 3mm tread. And finally, snow & ice covered Hill.
I knew the car was capable of driving up the slope no problem, where other cars struggled and indeed failed in these conditions. Far too easy for the Subaru 🙂
But what about, stopping part way up and then starting off again? Could it possibly gain enough traction in order to pull it safely up the hill? Take a look at the video below and see the results.
Note: I know the video isn’t the best quality and background noise distorted due to the heater being on. But no modifications to the car. Just stopped part way up, let the hill control release so the car it started to roll back then pulled away in 1st gear with no fuss
Only recently noticed the design of the cycle rack outside Halfords in Elgin.
I really hope this collaboration happens!
Always loved the Toyota MR2 and to modernise with Subaru engineering and balance thanks to a flat boxer engine, would like a match made in heaven.
Expecting souped up BRZ, possibly
